Raymond. L. Myers

Raymond L. Myers started with the Vienna Police Department in September 1980 as a civilian employee in maintenance. Myers is a graduate of Parkersburg High School and is married to Brenda Day. Together they have 5 children Christy, Valerie, Mattie, Kecia and Raymond II.  Raymondís duties for the police department are head of maintenance, which include vehicles and grounds.  He also assists the uniformed division of the police department in their duties and serves as a back up crossing guard. Raymond is also a member of the Vienna Fire Department since 1989.  His responsibilities are Firefighter, Rescue Lt. and Fire Investigations. Myers is also a Fire Investigator for the Wood County Prosecutors Office, a Bomb Technician Assistant for the WV State Fire Marshals Office, and a Wild land Firefighter for the United States Forestry Service.

Raymond was the recipient of the Fireman of the Year award in 1991 for the Vienna Fire Department.

Raymond has attended the National Fire Academy in Emitsburg, MD and has taken several classes through WV University as a firefighter.
